Learn about the materials and basic techniques that are the foundation of watercolor painting. This class is meant for those with no experience in the medium or the artist who finds watercolor frustrating and confusing. We will cover how to handle your equipment, produce flat, graded, and random washes, glazing, drypoint, masking, lifting, pouring, setting up for a painting and more. Lots of time for demonstrations and Q&A.
(Students provide their own equipment. Materials list available) (paper available for purchase in class from instructor)
